Invitation Letter

The Chinese Organizing Committee of the 8th China–Japan–Korea Grassland Conference, on behalf of the Chinese Grassland Society, the Japanese Grassland Society and the Korean Society of Grassland and Forage Science, invites you to participate in this International Grassland Conference to be held September 2-6, 2024 at Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, Hohhot, China.

Grasslands cover about 41% of the Earth’s land surface, create and stabilize fertile soil, store carbon, generate oxygen, and provide animal habitat, building materials and food. Grasslands also harbor rich and valuable genetic resources of crops and domestic animals, as well as many undescribed but potentially important stress-resistant genes. However, grassland ecosystems are currently threatened by land-use conversion and climate change. Therefore, it is important to strengthen international collaboration in investigating the diversity and value of grasses, assessing grassland health and promoting sustainable development. It is our goal to provide a vibrant platform for academic exchange and education.
